Client Relations Manager
Description
Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are actively seeking a Client Relations Manager in San Antonio, TX. The Client Relations Manager is a relationship-driven business development and community partnership role focused on expanding access to high-quality residential and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role is responsible for growing, strengthening relationships, and positioning Community Options as a trusted, mission-aligned provider across assigned regions. Serving as a key liaison between Community Options and external stakeholders, the Client Relations Manager builds long-term partnerships with external entities, guardians, funding authorities, and community organizations while collaborating closely with regional leadership to ensure service capacity aligns with community needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to grow programs across services
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and new stakeholders
- Serve as a knowledgeable and trusted resource by assessing individual needs and aligning them with appropriate Community Options services
- Represent the organization at community meetings, provider forums, and networking events to enhance visibility and strengthen partnerships
- Collaborate with regional and state leadership on strategy, capacity planning, and service expansion opportunities
- Participate in intake discussions and placement coordination to support timely, appropriate admissions
- Maintain ongoing relationships with sources by providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring a responsive, solutions-oriented experience
- Track activity, outreach efforts, and outcomes in accordance with internal reporting expectations
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
- Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
Minimum Requirements
- Driver’s license required
- High school diploma required
- Background in case management, service coordination, or program leadership within the IDD system
- Strong working knowledge of state waiver programs, eligibility requirements, and service authorization processes
- Experience building professional relationships within human services, healthcare, or nonprofit environments
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders using a consultative, person-centered approach
- Comfort working independently in the community while coordinating closely with internal teams
